Awards and Shows
At the age of fifteen,
August Holland's first published work appeared in Popular Science
Magazine. To date over one hundred of his paintings have been reproduced by Chicago and New York publishers.
Presently, most of his recent work consisted of maritime art. He was a member of ASMA (American Society of Maritime Artists).
Occasionally he enjoyed painting landscape and wildlife subjects. Below is a
listing of his major shows and awards.
